St. Thomas, V.I. – Atty General Denise George reminds residents that the 2020 Census of the United States Virgin Islands will begin in February 2020. Census workers will walk neighborhoods to list all living quarters (e.g., housing units, group quarters and transitory locations such as marinas). They will conduct 2020 Census in-person interviews at all living quarters between March and July 2020.
St. Croix, V.I. – Attorney General Denise George announced that Ana M. Magras, Melanie Adames, Jamarie K. Grigg, and Flavel Magras were arraigned today in the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands on the formal criminal charges filed by the Attorney General against them.
St. Croix, V.I. – Atty General Denise George today announced that formal charges were filed with the Superior Court of the V.I. for 36-year-old, Daniel Cove. Cove, a registered sex offender was arrested and charged with failure to register as a sex offender. He was arraigned and advised of his rights on October 11, 2019 at the V.I. Superior Court. A motion was granted for bail with the following conditions: unsecured bond of $15,000; be released to the Village to complete the inpatient treatment program that he is currently in; upon release from the village in the next two months another motion must be filed to modify his pretrial release conditions.
St. Thomas, V.I. – Atty General Denise George welcomed representatives from the National Attorneys General Training & Research Institute (NAGTRI) to the territory during opening remarks at the Windward Passage Hotel, St. Thomas today.
St. Croix, V.I. – Atty General Denise George today announced the arrest of 36-year-old, Daniel Cove. Cove, a registered sex offender was apprehended by Superior Court Marshals on Thursday, October 10th at the Village Rehabilitation Center in Sion Hill, St. Croix. He was arrested on a warrant, for failing to comply with registration requirements.
