Due to the territory’s “Stay at Home” status, Atty General Denise George issues a reminder of measures put in place to safeguard the public and Dept. of Justice employees from potential exposure to COVID-19. The Paternity and Child Support Division (PCSD) continues to implement a response protocol to prevent the exponential spread of this novel virus.
Facilities of Paternity and Child Support remain closed to the public including offices located on the 2nd floor of Nisky Shopping Center, St. Thomas, and #3018 Estate Orange Grove, St. Croix.
Services are provided via telephone, fax, mail, and through the internet. A drop box is available for money orders and checks payments, NO CASH. “The Territorial Disbursement Unit and payment processing teams continue to ensure that payments are processed and disbursed timely”, said Director Joseph.
Customers with scheduled court hearings are contacted to discuss rescheduling options. Child Support Hearings and pre-trial conferences have been suspended until further notice.
