DOJ: Access & Visitation Program Partners with Greater Changes, LLC to Strengthen Father Engagement Through Free Parenting Education Series

FREDERIKSTED, St. Croix, USVI — The Virgin Islands Department of Justice (DOJ), through its Paternity and Child Support Division (PSCD) Access & Visitation Program (AVP), announces the launch of Empowered Fatherhood™, a six-week group series designed to strengthen the capacity of fathers to show up with purpose, presence, and practical skills. This initiative is made possible through a partnership between the Access & Visitation Program and Greater Changes, LLC, a licensed behavioral health agency based in the U.S. Virgin Islands, which will facilitate the free program services.

V.I. Department of Justice Hosts Staff Training on Negotiation and Communication Skills on St. Thomas and St. Croix

U.S. Virgin Islands — The V.I. Department of Justice recently hosted a multi-day professional development training for staff focused on negotiation and communication skills, held June 22–23 in St. Thomas and June 25–26 in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. The training, developed in partnership with the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG), brought together staff members for an immersive, hands-on learning experience designed to strengthen practical negotiation strategies, improve decision-making, and enhance communication in professional settings.
