Pending Court Action Challenging Constitutionality of New WAPA Board Law

(U.S. Virgin Islands)- Attorney General Denise George announces the pending action brought by the Government of the Virgin Islands and Governor Albert Bryan Jr. in the V.I. Superior Court to prevent the implementation of Act No. 8472. This Act relates to the makeup and the removal of members of the V.I. Water and Power Authority (WAPA) Governing Board.

V.I. Access and Visitation Program distributes laptops and backpacks

(U.S. Virgin Islands)- Attorney General Denise George is pleased to announce the successful distribution of supplies to students during the first “Back to School Laptop Give Away” launch for the 2020-2021 school year. The event held July 20 to 23rd was spearheaded by V.I. Access and Visitation – an arm of the Department of Justice’s Paternity and Child Support Division (PCSD).

AG: V.I. Dept. of Justice new Medical Examiner’s Office Opens today

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – Attorney General Denise George announces the opening today of the V.I. Department of Justice’s (VIDOJ) new Medical Examiner’s (ME) Office at 10A & 11A Bjerge Gade, St. Thomas. The facility includes an autopsy suite, morgue, and offices for the medical examiners and staff. After the completion of the physical facility, the staff relocated to their new offices.
