2021 Women’s History Month Webinar

A century ago, the passage of the 19th Amendment gave women the right to vote after decades of work from women who refused to be silenced.

On March 18, three female attorneys general, including AG Denise George joined NAAG President Karl A. Racine for a discussion of the progress women, including women of color, have made in our country since suffrage, the challenges women still face in society and under the law, and their personal paths to becoming attorney general of their state or territory.

Panelists also shared their advice for encouraging more women to enter public service law.
