AG Denise George: Mother pleads guilty to child abuse in 2019 death of 4-yearold son, Aaron Benjamin

(U.S. Virgin Islands)- V.I. Attorney General Denise George has announced that Delicia Daniel, who was facing multiple criminal charges in the death of her son, 4-year-old Aaron Benjamin Jr. in 2019, has plead guilty to Child Abuse in violation of 3 V.I.C. § 505(a). A plea hearing was held on Friday, October 22, 2021, in the Superior Court of St. Croix. On October 4, 2021, Delicia Daniel, 31, signed a written Plea Agreement.

AG Denise George: VIDOJ Agents Arrest Wanted Sex Offender Dustin Bue Messerly

(U.S. Virgin Islands)- V.I. Attorney General Denise George has announced that that 41-year-old Dustin Bue Messerly, a registered sex offender, was arrested by V.I. Dept. of Justice (VIDOJ) Special Agents and Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA) unit on St. Thomas today. Messerly was arrested for failure to comply with registration requirements for sex offenders in the Virgin Islands.

Attorney General Denise George Announces Arrest of a Dhs Medicaid Program Eligibility Specialist for Fraud

U.S. Virgin Islands – Attorney General Denise George announces the arrest today of Everton Garvey by the V.I. Dept. of Justice (VIDOJ). Garvey is an Eligibility Specialist for the Virgin Islands Medicaid Program at the V.I. Dept. of Human Services (DHS). Garvey turned himself into the VIDOJ and was arrested. VIDOJ Special Agents arrested Garvey on a warrant signed by the V.I. Superior Court Magistrate on St. Thomas.
