ST. CROIX, U.S.V.I. – Attorney General Denise George announced that a St. Croix Superior Court jury found Kenson Barley guilty of Unlawful Sexual Contact in the First Degree stemming from his sexual assault of a 9-year-old girl in St. Croix. Barley faces up to 15 years imprisonment.
St. Croix, V.I. – Attorney General Denise George announced that a St. Croix man who was facing criminal charges for killing Terrance Moorehead in 2015, confessed to the crime by pleading guilty moments before trial was to begin in Superior Court of the V.I., and he is scheduled to be sentenced on January 29, 2020.
St. Croix, V.I. – Attorney General Denise George announced that Elvis Fredericks, Jr. was arraigned today in the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands on the formal criminal charges filed by the Attorney General against him for possession of stolen property; a 2017 gray Ford Focus registered to Metro Motors, values with a list price of $29,900.
St. Thomas, V.I. – Atty General Denise George reminds residents that the 2020 Census of the United States Virgin Islands will begin in February 2020. Census workers will walk neighborhoods to list all living quarters (e.g., housing units, group quarters and transitory locations such as marinas). They will conduct 2020 Census in-person interviews at all living quarters between March and July 2020.
