Rhea has announced the arrest and advice of rights hearing for 51-year-old Julian Enrique Cuello, a St. Thomas resident and fugitive wanted in Pennsylvania. Cuello, who was apprehended on St. Thomas, faces multiple charges related to Medicaid fraud in Pennsylvania and is currently awaiting extradition to stand trial in the state.
U.S. Virgin Islands – The Virgin Islands Department of Justice (DOJ) has successfully completed a training program focused on advanced trial techniques and investigative strategies. Hosted by the National Attorneys General Training and Research Institute (NAGTRI), the training took place on St. Croix from March 17-18 and on St. Thomas from March 20-21, with each island hosting separate two-day sessions. This program brought together DOJ attorneys, investigators, and litigation support staff to hone their legal skills and enhance their practical expertise.
